Lithuanian Farmhouse Saison
4.7% abv
We sourced a saison yeast strain from a famous Lithuanian Brewery, Jovaru, which was cultivated by Omega Yeast Labs in Chicago and will ferment this entirely in freshly emptied Pinot Noir wine barrels. This yeast strain likes to ferment in really warm conditions, so kind of perfect right now! We are brewing this one with entirely locally sourced and malted barley, wheat and rye, all grown in the Carolinas and Tennessee and malted by Riverbend Malt House in Asheville, NC. The saison yeast strain is from an area in the Highlands of Lithuania.

Lafayette.
